How to Connect the Ezlo Shut-Off Water Valve [Z-Wave Client] to SmartThings

The first step would be to ensure that the Water Valve is powered up. Open the SmartThings app and select the hub to which you want to connect the Water Valve.

Tap on the three dots in the upper right corner and then select Edit Device.

Tap on the "Add" button in the Partner Devices section, scroll down to the letter Z, and choose Z-Wave.

The camera will open, and you only need to scan the QR Code located at the bottom of the Ezlo Water Valve.

Once scanned, press the "Include/Exclude" button once on your Water Valve. The LED light will blink orange during the inclusion process and stop when finished. 

After a few seconds, the Ezlo Water Valve will be detected and connected with the SmartThings hub.

Once ready, a success message will be displayed, and the Ezlo Water Valve will be ready to work with SmartThings.

Then the Ezlo Water Valve will be displayed in the Devices menu of the SmartThings app.

Now, you can operate the device and create routines to make your home smarter.
