This guide outlines a straightforward process for setting up your Aeotec Recessed Door Sensor 7 with your Ezlo controller.

  • To begin, open the sensor’s lid, clear the battery pull tab, and then securely close the lid.
  • On the MiOS app, go to More > Devices, tap the “+” symbol, select the controller where you want to add the device, then go to “Generic Z-Wave Device” select it and click “Next” to initiate the pairing process.
  • Return to the Recessed Door Sensor and press the action button once, ensuring it is within proximity to the controller.
  • The onboard LED will blink for two seconds to confirm the action.
  • Once your Ezlo controller recognizes the device, it will proceed to pair with it.
  • Next, provide a name for your sensor, assign it to a room, and finalize the setup process within the MiOS app.

Congratulations!

You can now monitor the sensor's activity and trigger MeshBots using your MiOS app with ease.
