Pairing your Aeotec Door Window Sensor 5 with your Ezlo Atom is a quick and easy DIY process if you can follow the below steps. So have your sensor’s user manual close by for details and continue reading on.
- Step 1: To begin with, place the sensor and the controller near each other.
- Step 2: Remove the plastic backplate of your sensor and clear the plastic tabs on the battery.
- Step 3: On the MiOS app, go to More > Devices
- Step 4: While in “Devices,” tap the “+” symbol, and go to “Sensors”.
- Step 5: Look for Aeotec Door Window Sensor ZW120 and select it.
- Step 6: When ready, tap “Next” for the pairing process to commence.
- Going back to the Door Window Sensor, press once on the action button, and the onboard LED blinks red for two seconds before turning solid to confirm the pairing.
- The controller recognizes the device and pairs it with your system.
- Back to the MiOS app, name your sensor, and give it room to finalize the process.
You can now use your MiOS app to create Meshbots and monitor the sensor.
