How to Set Up Your Aeotec SmartSwitch 6

It is easy to pair your Aeotec SmartSwitch 6 with your Ezlo hub. This article will take you through the setup process.

To begin with, choose where you want to place the smart switch and plug it into the wall socket.

  • Step 1: On the MiOS app, go to More > Devices.
  • Step 2: While on devices, tap on the “+” symbol and scroll to “Dimmers & Lights.”
  • Step 3: You will find and tap on SmartSwitch 6 to start the pairing wizard.
  • Step 4: Tap “Next” to start the pairing process when the device is ready.
  • Step 5: Go back to your SmartSwitch 6 and hit the action button twice.
  • Step 6: The controller will connect and pair with the SmartSwitch 6.
  • Back to the MiOS app, choose a name for your SmartSwitch 6, and select a room to finalize the process.

You are all set to go. You can now plug any appliance or lamp into your SmartSwitch 6, and you can control it from anywhere using your MiOS app.
