Ezlo - OwnerRez sync plugin helps the door code set on your preferred door lock using an Ezlo controller in your property.

How it works:

The plugin is installed on your controller through Ezlo Web App (Ezlogic) (https://ezlogic.mios.com) While configuring the plugin, you are prompted with the information needed and it performs the following:

• Connect to your OwnerRez cloud account (using personal access tokens for now) in a predefined interval (10 min by default, configurable, changeable)
• Get the next earliest booking in “Ok” Status. 
  • (It does not take canceled or deleted bookings into account)
• Get the door code set in the booking
• Check if the current day is the arrival day. If it is, then set the door code to the specified door lock automatically. 
  • (Currently, it checks if the current day has started - after 00:00)
• It notifies you about the sync has been completed.
  • It updates a tile in the dashboard to show the most recent sync is done with which booking number. 
  • It can notify you via email or push notification through MiOS mobile app
• If the current day is not in any active booking, then the door codes on the door lock set by the plugin are cleared.
• DoorCode update: If the current day is in an active booking period, and the code has already been set, then the plugin checks the door code, if it is updated on the OwnerRez side, then it gets updated on Ezlo side as well.
• Multiple Door Locks: If in the configuration, you provide multiple deviceIds then the door code is set to all of them.

Property Creation

Note down your property number. You will use this information to configure your Ezlo plugin.

Ezlo Plugin Setup

• Go to “Edge Plugins” menu and Update plugin archive (For Beta users only, in production the plugin will be downloaded from marketplace).

The green popup will appear upon successful upload.

• Click “Manage Installations” icon next to the “OwnerRez” plugin

• You will see your controllers in the account. Click “Install” next to the controller you want to install plugin to.

• The green popup will appear upon successful installation. Click “Configure” to set up your plugin. You will need some information ready beforehand to complete the configuration: 
  • • Personal access token noted while doing the “OwnerRez Setup” steps.
    • Property number noted while doing the “OwnerRez Setup” steps.
    • DeviceId numbers for the door locks on the Ezlo controller, you want to sync the door codes to. 

• Go to “Settings” -> “Devices” and find your doorlock under the desired controller section. Click the device icon on the top left corner of the device tile. DeviceId number will be shown in the popup. Note down the deviceId numbers for your door locks.

• Configure your plugin using the information you noted down earlier.

• A blue popup will appear indicating the configuration has been successful.

• A new device will be created on your controller, representing the sync operation for that specific property. This specific device will be later available as a trigger in meshbots.

• Check the codes set in your door lock via API tool. If the plugin can connect to your system successfully, then the door code set from OwnerRez platform will be synced to your door lock as a new user_code.
